  <p>Information: Asa L. Westfall, 73, of Ripley, died Monday, October 29, 1990, at Jackson General Hospital, after an extended illness.  He was retired from Jackson General Hospital as a maintenance supervisor.  He was a member of St. Matthew&#39;s Catholic Church, Ravenswood, aand VFW Post 5501.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.  Surviving:  wife, Josephine; daughter, Mrs. Paulette Woody of Little Hocking, Ohio; son-in-law, David Woody of Little Hocking; brothers, Hoyt of Orangeburg, SC, Orda of Cullman, Ala., and Clellie of Ripley; sister, Cora Nickerson of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren, Megan and Anthony Woody.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbie, and two sisters, Dollie Mann and Ida Kreps.  Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Friday at St. Matthew&#39;s Catholic Church with Monsignor Sylvester Staud officiating.  Friends may call at Parsons Funeral Home, Thursday, from 6-9 p.m.  Wake will be held at 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.</p>
