  <p>Information: STATESVILLE NC - Justin R. Welling, 24, of Statesville NC, died Tuesday, October 1, 2003 at Davis Regional Hospital in Statesville NC.  He was born June 27, 1979 in Ripley, a son of Charles Welling of Fairplain and Elsie Sayre Welling of Statesville.  He was a painter and worked for Sigmond Painting.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Rick Welling of South Port NC, Allen Welling and Ronnie Welling of Given; a sister, Donna Todd of Statesville NC.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Devin, Sarah and Carter Welling, and Amy, Amanda and Cory Robinson and a great niece, Haley Clontz.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Russell and Lola Welling; maternal grandparents, Rudolph ""Sam"" and Blanche Howell Sayre; uncles, Darrell and Kenneth Sayre; and one nephew, Donald Charles Robinson.  Funeral service and visitation was October 3, 2003 at the Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley with Pastor Charles Bolen officiating.  Burial followed at Moss Chapel Cemetery, Jim Ridge, near Given.</p>
