Information: EZRA WEEKLEY FUNERAL HELD AT FAIRPLAIN - Funeral services were held at the Vail funeral home Sunday for Ezra Weekley, 84, with Rev. Roy McCoy officiating and the burial was in the Fairplain cemetery.  Mr. Weekley died at University Hospital at Morgantown on Thursday.  He had been the first medicare patient in that hospital.  A son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Weekley and a former merchant and farmer, he was the last surviving member of his family.  Mr. Weekley was a patient for some time during June at Jackson General Hospital.  He was transferred to the University hospital early in July and was the first Medicare patient in that hospital when the law became effective on July 1.  He had lived for a number of years at Salt Hill and at one time operated a grocery store there.
