  <p>Information: Margaret (Margie) Waugh, 86, of Ripley, died November 15, 2009, after an extended illness.  She was born September 12, 1923 to Wanda Statts Landfried and Cleophus Landfried.  Margie was a graduate of Ripley High School with the class of 1942, attended Marshall College for two years and graduated from Charleston Commercial College.  She was an employee of the Jackson County Board of Education, the Jackson County Circuit Clerk, and the Jackson County Assessor.  Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Waugh; her brother, Cecil (Joe) Landfried and his wife, Anne; and her aunt, Lessie Goodwin O&#39;Leary.  Survivors include her step-mother, Mabel Carney; brother, Edward (Red) Landfried; sister, Dorothy Moore; nieces, Margaret (Mickie) Casto and Caroline Adams: many family members, including cousins, Joseph Robert Goodwin, Thomas Ryan Goodwin and Steven Patrick Goodwin.  A private graveside service was held at Fairplain Cemetery.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.  The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Jackson County Humane Society, Rt. 2, Box 20A, Sandyville, WV 25275, or Jackson County Habitat for Humanity, P. O. Box 407, Ripley WV  25271.  The family would like to thank the staff of Eldercare of Ripley for their loving care.</p>
