Information: DIED!  WILLIAM GRANVILLE WATTS, A LEADING MERCHANT OF OUT TOWN, PASSED AWAY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND BURIED MONDAY - For the past ten or fifteen years, William G. Watts' life has been hanging as if by a thread, and his death expected at any time, still he held on tenaciously and with seeming iron constitution battled along always without a murmur of complaint, trusting only in God, and ready at all times to obey His summons.  He was a leading member of the Baptist church and also of Dan Frost Post, No. 16, G.A.R., having served in the late war as a veteran, and always had a word of cheer for the ""boys"".  We had known him for over twenty years, and have yet the first time to hear any one speak of him only in a friendly manner.  How nice it would be if we would all live such lives as this, that when we are gone, all would say,""He was a good man in very respect."".   His funeral was conducted by Rev. W. L. Compere, pastor of the Baptist church, assisted by all the other ministers of the town, and the funeral procession was the largest that ever passed through the town.  The pall bearers were A. N. Roberts, J. B. Hall, Ja's Gibbs, J. F. Stone, C. C. Shank and A. L. S. Varner.
