  <p>Information: HOUSTON TX - Shirley June Watson, 72, of Houston TX, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, following a lengthy illness.  She was born Septamber 28, 1935 in Liverpool, a daughter of the late Jack and Jean Marshall of Spencer.  Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.  She received a B.A. Degree in Education from Marshall University and taught in Jackson County for over 28 years.  Shirley&#39;s loving and caring spirit will live in her family&#39;s hearts forever.  She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.  Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Gene; sons, Scott Allen Watson of Houston TX and Ty Bradey Watson of Denver CO; grandchildren, C. J., Lauren and Danielle, all of Denver CO and Samantha of Houston TX; sister, Margaret Sturm and brother, Jim Marshall, both of Spencer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dottie Banks of Spencer.  A memorial service in celebration of Shirley&#39;s life will be held Friday, April 11, 2008, at 11 am at the First United Methodist Chrch, Ravenswood, with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Memorial Fund of First United Methodist Church of Ravenswood, 719 Flinn, Ravenswood WV 26164.  Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, is in charge of the arrangments.  Online condolences may be expressed to the Watson family at roush1us2000@yahoo.com.</p>
