Information: John Homer Waskey, 79, of Sandyville died Friday in Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.  Services were held Sunday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Ulysses Rhea officiating.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery at Sandyville.  A son of the late Robert and Agnes Crow Waskey, he was a retired farmer.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rose Waskey; two sons, Robert D. and John W., both of Sandyville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Dawkins of Sandyville and seven grandchildren.
