  <p>Information: The town of Ravenswood has just lost an old resident and a highly esteemed lady by the death of Mrs. Marietta S. Wardner, which took place on the 9th last, at 5 a.m.  The deceased lady had been afflicated for two or three years previous to her death, but all her sufferings were endured without a murmur. She was sustained and comforted during her long illness by the anticipation of that eternal rest which remaineth to the people of God.  Mrs. Wardner was born at Pawlett, Vermont on April ...1810, so that she reached the ripe age of seventy six years.  Her parents were born in Connecticut, but removed to Vermont.  Their name was Harmon.  Marietta married Mr. Wardner in New York, but in 1848  they left that state and came to this district, where they have since resided.  When Mrs. Wardner came to this town, she united with the Presbyterian Church, but she made an..................[from the scrapbook of Mary Kouns]</p>
