  <p>Information: Frances Adele Walsh, 83, of Ripley, died May 2 following a long illness.  She was born in Ripley, a daughter of the late F. Jennings and Dora Dell Harpold.  She was a member of the St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church and was a former employee of the Department of Human Services.  She was a former 4-H Co-ordinator for the Jackson County Homemakers.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walsh in 1989.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Elizabeth Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends may call at Vail Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.  Contributions may be made to St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church or the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department.        *Born Feb. 13, 1906.  Preceded in death by her sister, Anita Dell Harpold .</p>
