Information: Mrs. W. K. Walker, of Fairplain, died last Thursday of flu and other complications.  She had been seriously ill for several weeks.  She leaves a husband and five children.  Rev. L. E. Powers preached the funeral service at the Ephesus Church Friday after which she was buried in the church cemetery by the side of her two children who had preceded her by a few years.  None of the family were able to attend the funeral on account of sickness.  (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre collection)
