  <p>Information: John D. Utt, 81, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1931 in Duncan (Jackson County) West Virginia, the son of the late John Wesley and Savannah (McCord) Utt.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ina Mae Gandee, Betty Hines, Imogene Gandee, and Eva Mae ""Toots"" Sulter; and brothers, Frank and Samuel Utt.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bulah May (Smith) Utt; children, Teresa Ann (Charles) Adams of South Bloomfield, David Paul Utt of Circleville, John Matthew Utt of Stafford, Virginia, James Daniel ""Danny"" (Kylee) Utt of Evansville, Indiana, and Brenda Lynn Utt of Circleville; grandchildren, Caitlin and Caleb Adams, Hannah and Jarred Utt, and Luke and Bishop Utt; sisters, Mary Ann of Florida, Ruby Comer, Virginia Piersoll and Virginia ""Noots"" Gandee of West Virginia; special friend, Mike Levernier; and his special cat, Minnie Mae.  John served in the Army during the Korean War.  He had worked at Lincoln and Arrow Plastics and enjoyed hunting rabbits, squirrels, and pheasants, and carving wood canes.  Funeral service was held at 11 am Monday, August 13, 2012, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville.  Pastor Keith Williams officiated.  Burial followed at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Military honors were provided by AMVETS Post 2256 Honor Guard.  Friends called from 10 am until the time of the service on Monday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin OH 43017.  To send condolences, visit www.schoedinger.com.</p>
