Death Notice:

Obituary Date: 1921-10-14

Information: Earli Martha, daughter of Abraham and Rebecca Price, was born May 7, 1842 and died October 3, 1921, aged 79 years, 4 months and 26 days.  She was united in marriage with John L. Unrue in the year of 1859 and to this union were born seven children, one boy and six girls.  They are as follows:  Mrs. C. C. Stewart of Evans, W. Va., Mrs. O. D. Parson of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. C. F. Kerwood of Ripley, W. Va., Mrs. A. D. Sayre and Julius L. Unrue, Dunbar, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Lenora Myres of East Liverpool, Ohio.  Two daughters, Mrs. E. E. Starcher and Mrs. Georgia Parson preceded her to the better land.      ""Aunt Earli"" as she was affectionately known among her numberless host of friends, was a lifelong member of the United Brethren church at Mt. Moriah, raised one of the most respected families of the country and was known as one of the best women of the county.  While attending the needs of her own family, she always found time to administer to the needs and ills of the neighbors of the community in which she lived, as she was never too busy but what she could go to the house of a neighbor and help care for the sick and those in distress.  She has lived a life of usefulness to her good family, to her community, and to her God.  What more could be said of a sainted mother.  The funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the United Brethren Church by its pastor, Rev. A. M. Payne, who was assisted by Rev. T. H. Rymer and the remains interred in the Pine Hill cemetery.  A large crowd was present for the services and the floral tribute was most beautiful.
