  <p>Information: June Maxine Newberry Uhl, 84, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at Retreat Hospital of Richmond in Hospice care.  She was born in Ravenswood WV on September 19th, 1927, the daughter of the late Roy and Merle Newberry.  Married to the late Leo Riker Uhl for 40 years, she was the mother of four children:  Barbara J. Childs of Austin TX, Diana Bryan Iannuzzi, wife of Mark Iannuzzi of Williamsburg VA, Steven R. Uhl of Mechanicsville VA, and the late Roger Compston of Omaha NE.  She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Kimberly Rye, James Williams, Teresa Childs, Tracy Schultz, Matthew Bryan, Randi Bryan, and Steven Mattingly (Matt) Uhl.  She was the sister of the late Ray Newberry and is survived by her sister Wanda (Sis) Parkins of Ravenswood WV.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  The family received friends on Sunday, December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville VA, where services were held on Monday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. followed by graveside services at Signal Hill Memorial Cemetery, Mechanicsville VA.</p>
