  <p>Information:      Lana June Turner, 70, of Dunbar, passed away June 25, 2012, to her heavenly home.  She was born March 31, 1941.  Lana was stricken with polio at age 4 and endured many days of poor health with dignity and grace.  Lana graduated from Ripley High School in 1960.  She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Wilson Turner; and her sister Rita Turner Sigmon.  She is survived by her mother, Katherine Turner; son, John Turner; grandson, Chaska Turner; and brothers, Blaines (Glenda) Turner of Fort Meade, Fla., and Tom (Mary Lou) Turner of Hurricane.  Lana unselfishly entrusted her body to West Virginia University Medical School to further medical research.  At her request, there will be no service.  Should friends desire, contributions may be made to WVU Medical School in Lana&#39;s memory.</p>
