Information: TRIBETT DEATH RULED SUICIDE - William Arthur Tribett, 82, took his life by shooting at his apartment on South Court street in Ripley about nine o'clock Tuesday morning. He sent a note by taxi to a relative in another part of town a few minutes before, apprising them of what he planned to do. They went to his apartment immediately, but he was already dead. He had used a 12 gauge shotgun and the charge had struck him in the stomach. He was a retired railroad conductor and was born in Meigs county, Ohio, on November 22, 1881. He was a son of George W. and Lucy Johnson Tribett. He had lived here alone for some time, acquaintances said. The death was officially ruled as a suicide and the body was removed to the Vail mortuary. No funeral arrangements had been made last night and relatives were being contacted, but none had yet arrived to make the funeral arrangements.
