  <p>Information: Oscar Tilley died in a Welch hospital at 6:30 o&#39;clock Tuesday morning from wounds received on Saturday night when he was fatally stabbed as he walked from his business establishment on Wilcoe, a short distance from the McDowell County seat.  Tilley was the husband of the former Marion Hood of Ripley, and was employed by the Pocahontas Coal Company as a chemist.  The funeral party will arrive in Ripley sometime before noon today (Thursday) and the body will be taken to the home of Mrs. J. K. Hood in West Ripley where a short funeral service will be held and burial will follow in the Pine Hill cemetery. [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]</p>
