Information: Mrs. Marion Hood Tilley, 88, of Ripley, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1989, at home after a long illness.  She was a member of the Church of the Holy City, Wilmington,Del.  She was a retired school teacher in West Virginia and Maryland school systems.  She was a graduate of Ripley High School and Morris Harvey College.  Surviving:  son, Douglas J. Tilley of Wilmington; sisters, Mrs. Virginia Casto of Charleston, Mrs. Isabelle Crites of Ripley, Mrs. Helen Rhodes of Cottageville.  Service was held Sunday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Elizabeth Walker officiating.  Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
