Information: Terry Allen Tidd, born on November 5, 1961 to George Paul and Mary Ann Lehew, left this world to be with our Lord and Saviour after an extended and hard-fought battle with cancer, on January 17, 2012, at his home. T. A. is survived by his children, daughters, Brandi N. Adkins, Cassandra J. Tidd, Amber L. Tidd, Diedre L. Tidd, and his only son, Andrew C. Tidd; brothers, George Douglas Tidd, Steven Ray Tidd; and sister, JoBeth Tidd Fitzwater, all of Ravenswood. T. A. is also survived by maternal grandmother, Anna Louise Lehew of Parkersburg WV; nieces, Mary Gandee, Alisha Miihlbach, Jessica Bergdorf, Georgeanna Fitzwater; nephew, Hunter Fitzwater; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. T. A. was a very proud grandfather of Cierra T. Dunn, Halla N. Wilburn, Cody A. Nichols, Jeremiah J. Rhodes and Kya MaeLynn Rhodes. T. A. was also a special ""Pop-pop"" to Gavin Thomas Wilburn. T. A. wore many different hats in the community during his lifetime as a carpet installer, block layer, restaurant worker, gas attendant, but was especially proud of his time as a mechanic for B & B Marathon. He got great enjoyment in helping others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer E. Tidd, Sr. and Blanche E. Byers Tidd, Dale E. Lehew, and great-niece, Kaylee G. Miihlbach. By far, T. A.'s greatest accomplishment was being a loving son to his parents, a giving brother to his siblings, above all else, a very proud father to his children. T. A. will be very much missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 12:00 noon. Two hour visitation prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Roush Funeral Home at P. O. Box 933, Ravenswood WV 26164, for final expenses.
