  <p>Information: Paticia (Patti) Ann Thomas, 56, of Newark, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, of pancreatic cancer.  She was born June 30, 1956 in Ripley, West Virginia, a daughter of James H. and Loretta C. Thomas of Newark.  Patti retired after 27 years at Diebold and made many friends with whom she remained close.  She loved to play the slots and always had fun wherever she was.  She will be sadly missed by all.  She leaves behind a daughter, Marsha Dawn Thomas of Newark; her one and only grandson, Sabien Michael Thomas, 2 years old, of Newark; her boyfriend and companion, William Athey of Newark; her sister, Judy (David) Sheets of Ripley, WV; her brother, James D. (Bonnie) Thomas of Newark; two nieces, five nephews, 11 great-nieces and two great-nephews and many close friends.  Friends and family called from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home in Newark.  A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
