Information: Alma B. Thomas, 83, of Route 11, Parkersburg, died Friday morning at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Stansbury and Dolly Collins Bower.  She was a member of the Shepherd Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was the last surviving member of her family.  She is survived by her husband, Raymond N. Thomas; four sons, Virgil Thomas and Richard Thomas, both of Parkersburg, Clare Thomas of Cleveland, Ohio, and Russel Thomas of Belleville; two daughters, Jessie Allen and Dusie Romine, both of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, one grandson, four brothers, and three sisters.  Service was held Sunday at the Franklin Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Phillip Newhart officiating.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery, Jackson County.
