Information: Mrs. Mary Jo Taler, 54, of Elyria, OH, died Jan. 3, 1990, in Cleveland Clinic after a long illness.  She was a 1953 graduate of Ripley High School, a graduate of Keuka (N.Y.) College, a member of Eastern Star and a Shriner. She was a member of Avon United Methodist Church.  Surviving:  husband, Glen F. Thaler; daughter, Pamela Jo Matthews of Gallipolis, OH; brother, Jerry Rhodes of Ripley; father, M.S. Rhodes of Ripley; three grandchildren.  Service was held Sunday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Diabetics Association.
