  <p>Information: Lucy B. Taylor, 82, of Sandyville, died Thursday, November 14, 2002, at her home following a long illness.  She was born March 7, 1920, at Leroy, a daughter of the late Rollie and Inez Ott Allen.  She was a Christian and a devoted mother and homemaker.  She was a member of the Sandyville United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Methodist Women&#39;s Unit.  She was also a member of the Sandyville VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  She is survived by sons, Frank McVay and wife Nina of Ravenswood, Roscoe Taylor and wife Laura of Ripley; daughters, Mary Palmer of Ravenswood, Linda Tippens and husband, John, of Sandyville, Ilona Mullins and husband David of Ravenswood, and Inez Freshour and husband Clarence of Sandyville; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Taylor; a brother, Harry Allen; and one grandson.  Funeral services were held Saturday, November 16, at Vail Funeral Home in Ripley with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating.  Burial in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
