  <p>Information: Wilma ""Maxine"" McVay Syner, 77, of Ravenswood, formerly of Ripley, passed away March 14, 2015, at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness.  She was born Arpil 21, 1937, at Ripley, daughter of the late Joe Wesley ""Bud"" Sayre and Mae Parks Sayre.  She was an insurance agent for many years and was an agent for Myers Insurance, Allstate (Teresa Thacker Agency) and Tucker Insurance.  She was a member of the Prayer and Faith Tabernacle Church and she enjoyed visiting with all people and trying to help someone when she could.         She is survived by her husband, Clyde Syner; her daughter, Sandra McVay of Ripley; step-sons, Randall Syner of Ravenswood and Jerry Syner of Sandyville; brother, Donald (Fay) Sayre of Ohatchee AL; sister, Sharlyn (Everette) Raines of Ripley; and special niece, Donna Stanley of Ravenswood; along with her step-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, James McVay; brother, Bob Sayre; and sister, Mary Coon.  Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. (today) Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Roger Cummings officiating.  Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends called from 6 to 8 pm. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the funeral home.  Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.</p>
