Information: Sophronia Kate Unrue Stewart was born October 7, 1860, and departed this life January 18, 1928, age 67 years, 3 months and 11 days.  She was united in marriage to C. C. Stewart August 7, 1881, and to this union five children were born.  One daughter died in infancy.  She is survived by her husband; four boys, Shirley of Pittsburgh, Pa., Boyd of Evans, Roy of Milwaukee, Wis., and Walter of Youngstown, O., thirteen grandchildren, one brother and three sisters; Julius of Dunbar, Ada Sayre of Evans, Dove Parsons of Akron, Ohio and Ora Kerwood of Ripley.  Two sisters, Georgia Parsons and Josie Starcher, preceded her in death.  She was converted in the year of 1880 and joined the United Brethren Church.  She bore her suffering patiently and everything loving hands could do was done to make her suffering easier.  She was a loving wife, a kind mother and a good neighbor.  She was held in high esteem and will be missed in her community.  The funeral service was conducted at Otterbein by her pastor, Rev. Knapp and interment made by Director Bush. ""A loving one from us has gone, A voice we loved is still, A chair is vacant in our home Which never can be filled.  And has she gone, forever gone, And left us here to weep Till we are called to follow her And in the grave to sleep?  And since she could no longer stay To cheer us with her love We hope to meet with her again In yon bright world above.
