  <p>Information: Verner C. Stephens, 53, of Route 1, Leon, died Sunday in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, after a long illness.  He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood.  He was a member of Harvey Chapel Advent Christian Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.  Surviving:  wife, Mary Agnes Smith Stephens; daughters, Kathy Morrison and Judy Jordan, both of Leon; son, Charles of Leon; sisters, Rachel Brown of Athens, Ohio, Crystal Thomas of Leon, Icyle Herdman of Rutland, Ohio; brothers, Irvin, Homer, Brycle and Wilbur, all of Leon; six grandchildren.  Service will be at 2 p.m. today, (Wednesday) in Crow Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with the Rev. Herman Jordan and the Rev. Verlin Hart officiating.  Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Leon.  Crow Hussell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p>
