Information: Robert L. Starcher, 61, of Ripley, died March 9, 1995, at Roane General Hospital following a long illness.  He was born in Spencer, son of the late Brooks and Bonnie Craddock Starcher.  He did two tours of duty in Vietnam.  He was retired from the U. S. Navy with 21 years of service.  He attended the Nazarene Church.  He is survived by his wife, Beulah, of Ripley; son, Bobby Lee Starcher, at home; one daughter, Sara Jo Starcher, at home; one brother, William Starcher, of Spencer; one half-brother, Elmer Starcher of Clinton OH; two half-sisters, Wanda Calcpte from Louisiana, Carol Crihfield of Clinton OH.  Services were Sunday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial at Spencer Memorial Cemetery.
