  <p>Information: Mrs. Palestine Dora Belle Starcher, 71, of Liberty, Putnam County, died May 15, 1988, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.  She was a Methodist.  Surviving: husband, Lester (Buck) Starcher; sons, Orville of Liberty, William Lestel and Cletus Wayne, both of Given; daughters, Ida Smith of New Martinsville, Patty Skeen of Ripley, Mary Smith of Red House, Laura Kirk of Eleanor; brother, Otho Painter of Nitro; sisters, Avalee Mangus of Cross Lanes, Ada Starcher and Pearl Casto, both of Given; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Service was Tuesday at Emma Chapel Church, Putnam County, with the Rev. Shirley Hammack and Jerry Bonnett officiating.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangement.</p>
