  <p>Information: Lestel ""Buck"" Starcher, 79, of Liberty, died May 12, 1995 at Jackson General Hospital, after a brief illness.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Palestine.  He was born in Given, a son of the late John Cleveland and Ruby Belle Stalnaker Starcher. He was a farmer and worked at Libby Owens.  Surviving are three sons, Orville ""Buster""  Starcher of Liberty, William ""Bill"" Starcher and Cletus Wayne Starcher, both of Given; four daughters, Laura Kirk of Walkertown, NC, Patty Skeen of Ripley, Ida Smith of New Martinsville and Mary Smith of Red House WV; two brothers, Jack Starcher of Kenna and Warren Starcher of Ohioville PA; one sister, Macel Wright of Liberty; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Services were held Sunday at Emma Chapel Church, Liberty, with the Rev. Jerry Bonnett and the Rev. Paul Arthur officiating.  Burial was at the Emma Chapel Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of the arrangements.</p>
