  <p>Information: Everett E. Starcher, son of Robert E. and Emma Starcher, was born at Ripley on Nov. 10, 1857 and departed this life on July 1, 1941, age 83 years, 7 months and 21 days.  He was one of Jackson county&#39;s oldest school teachers, having taught in various schools of the county for 29 years.  He was also a farmer and a very successful business man.  He was united in marriage 59 years ago to Josephine Unrue, who preceded him in death 27 years ago.  To this union was born two sons, W. P. Starcher of Cottageville, and S. C. Starcher of Huntington.  He also leaves 6 grandchildren and the following brothers, Franklin Floyd Starcher of Huntington, William Starcher of Colby, Kansas, C. W. Starcher and S. G. Starcher of Ripley, and J. H. Starcher of Cheshire, Ohio.  Also one sister, Sophia Rhodes, of Long Island, Kansas.  Burial was made in the Pine Hill cemetery, Ripley, W.
