  <p>Information: Cletus C. (Pete or Dink) Starcher, 70, of Given died August 15, 1988, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was a Mason.  He attended Emma Chapel Church.  He was a veteran of World War II.  Surviving: wife, Rachel; sons, Royal O. of Pennsylvania and Paul Parsons of Given; brothers, Lester of Liberty, Warren of Pennsylvania and Boyd of Kenna; sisters, Hazel King of Kenna, Pauline Groome of New Jersey and Macel Wright of Liberty; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Henry Stanley officiating.  Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.</p>
