  <p>Information: Squire Stanley, lifelong resident of Sandyville, died Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o&#39;clock, at the age of 74 years. (He was a son of William and Melinda Stanley).  The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Independence church and burial was in the cemetery (McGhee Chapel) there with Lawrence Ford in charge of arrangements.  Surviving are the following children:  Mrs. Mary Dillon, Mrs. Elsie Shenefield, Mrs. Essie Gorrell, Benton Stanley and Carl Stanley, all of Sandyville; Richard Stanley of New Cumberland, W. Va.; Harry Stanley of Parkersburg and Mrs. Ruth Yates of Ravenswood.  [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]</p>
