  <p>Information: Samuel Edwin Stalnaker, one of the most prominent citizens of this county, died at 4 o&#39;clock Tuesday morning following a stroke of paralysis five weeks ago.  Mr. Stalnaker was born in Lewis county, moving to Jackson county soon after the Civil War and settled on Parchment. He was united in marriage to Sarah Elizabeth Maddox in 1863.  He was a Mason and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.  He would have been 79 years old Saturday.  Two sons and two daughters, W. B. and Kinsie Stalnaker, Mrs. Mansfield Casto, and Mrs. D. F. Hill, survive.  The remains were interred in the Parchment Valley Baptist Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, following services by Rev. T. O. Powers.   (McIntyre)</p>
