Information: Mary E. Stalnaker, widow of S. E. Stalnaker, who died April 7, 1914, aged 78 years, 11months, 26 days, daughter of the late John and Eliza Maddox, aged 82 and 80 years respectively.  She was born in Harrison county W. Va., fell asleep in Jesus at her home near Given, Jackson county, Sunday evening, December 4, 1921, aged 77 years, 11 months, 19 days.  She was converted in the morning of her youth and joined the Broad Run Baptist Church, later moving her membership to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of which she was a member at time of death.  Jesus said, "" you have fought a good fight, you have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which I will give you at that day.""      She was united in marriage to S. E. Stalnaker of near Jane Lew, Lewis county, March 10, 1863.  Four children were born to this union, namely:  W. B. and K. C. Stalnaker, Mrs. Eddie Hill, of Arbuckle, W. Va.; Oda Casto of Given, W. Va., all of which survive with one sister, Mrs. Dora Hall, of Jane Lew, Lewis county, to mourn their loss.      She was the oldest child of the Maddox family.  Friends and relatives gathered at the residence on Tuesday and held services, after which her body was taken to the Pleasant Valley Baptist church where funeral services were conducted by Rev. Haught.  She was laid to rest by the side of her husband to await the resurrection of the just.  Her place is vacant in her home Church and Sabbath School, but she is shouting Glory! Glory! with the redeemed of Christ.   (Mother dear, never fear, we shall triumph at last, If we trust in the word he has given, When our trials and toils and our weepings are past. We shall meet in that home up in heaven.)  O.D.C.
