  <p>Information: Edna Hartley Stahlman, 96, of South Charleston, West Virginia, formerly of Billings, West Virginia, died January 17, 1994 at the Thomas Memorial Hoapital, South Charleston, after a brief illness. She was born November 18, 1897 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Henry T. and Laurena Fenimore Hartley.  She was a registered nurse from the old Roane County Hospital and was a nurse for many people in Roane County.  She worked for the Red Cross in Roane County and was a member of the Beech Grove Church where she was secretary for 17 years.         She is survived by one daughter, June Stahlman Phillips of South Charleston; one son, Charles Franklin Stahlman of Spencer, West Virginia; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Stahlman in 1983, four sisters and one brother.  Services 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 1994 at the Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer with Dr. Joseph Blair officiating.  Burial will be in the Spencer Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.   (from funeral home leaflet)</p>
