  <p>Information: Sadie Staats, 92, of Sandyville WV, died April 22, 2002, following a short illness in Marietta Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 6, 1910 at Gay, Jackson County, WV, daughter of the late Vernon and Maudie Parsons Rhodes.  She was a housewife and a member of Sandyville United Methodist Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Maudeline Carmichael, Belpre OH; one sister, Loraine Andrews of Kissimee FL; three grandchildren, Daniel Carmichael, Belpre OH, Kay Carmichael George of Belpre OH, and Charlene Seevers, Marietta OH; and nine great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordan Staats; three brothers, Clyde, Winfred and Wendall Rhodes; five sisters, Adie Tolley, Tressie Staats, Georgia Farnsworth, Martha Rhodes and Pauline Miller.  Funeral services will be Thursday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. at Sandyville United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Ravenswood  Cemetery, Ravenswood WV.  Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Vail Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.</p>
