Information: HAMPTONVILLE - Mrs. Vivian E. Smith Boston, 67, of Petty Road and formerly of Jackson County, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Yadkin Nursing Center from a short illness.  She was born in Jackson Co. West Virginia, July 16, 1938 to Clyde B. and Cornelia Kessell Smith.  Mrs. Boston was a special education teacher and bus driver in West Virginia.  She was also a professional story teller, author and writer of several poems and short stories that were published.  Surviving are her special friend and companion for over 26 years, Ken Cole of Hamptonville; her children, William Boston, Mason Co. WV, Joseph Boston, Putnam Co. WV, John Boston, Dorothy Boston both of Mason Co. WV, James Boston, Jackson Co. WV; her mother, Cornelia K. Smith of Mason Co. WV; grandchildren, Oliver and Emily Boston, Ruthi Presley; a great-granddaughter, Riley Taylor; step-children, Kimberly Cole Simons, Sandyvile, WV, Kenneth Richard Cole, Princeton, WV; step-grandchildren, David Evans of Sandyville, WV, Brent Cole of Princeton, WV; step-great-grandsons, Hunter, Logan, Kanyon Evans of Sandyville, WV; sisters, Ardis Shirley, Doris Strosnider, Janice Shirley; brothers, Joe Smith and Maurice Smith; and several special friends including, Andrea Lemon of Glade Valley, Brenda Mayo of Hamptonville and Maudie Long of Hamptonville.  Funeral services will be held March 26, 2006, at Pleasant Hills in Evans.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
