  <p>Information: Harley C. Staats, 79, of Murraysville, died Monday at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg following a short illness.  He was born at Murraysville, a son of the late Thomas L. and Sarah B. Hanlin Staats.  He was a member of the Independent Fellowship Church at Ravenswood and a retired farmer.  He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Dern of Washington, WV., and Violet Anderson of Ravenswood; three sons, Wayne Staats and Edwin Staats, both of Murraysville, and Dana Staats of Sherman; one sister, Virginia DeLong of Ravenswood; one brother, Orville Staats of Ravenswood; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth DeLong Staats, in 1986.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
