  <p>Information: RIPLEY WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY - Mrs. Evelyn Yates Staats, 64, of Ripley, died Monday of a heart attack.  She was stricken at her home and was dead on arrival at Jackson General Hospital.  A native of the Ripley area, she was well and favorably known. She actively participated at the Ripley Baptist Temple and was recently honored for being present at church services every Sunday for 32 years without a single absence.  Surviving:  two brothers Edwin Yates of Ripley and Harlan Yates of Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her former husband some years ago.  Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Vail Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday).</p>
