Information: Jasper W. Boston, 82, Parkersburg, died Monday evening at the Veterans' Hospital in Clarksburg after a brief illness.  Born in Jackson County, he was a son of the late Samuel H. and Millie Miller Boston and spent most of his life in Jackson County, moving to Parkersburg four years ago to live with his daughter, Mrs. Velma West, Larkmead Rd., Route 4.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Veterans Lodge at Sandyville.  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Velma West, Mrs. Okley Jordan, Nitro, and Mrs. Nina Hall, Sheppardsville, Ky., one son, Lionel, Langley Park, Md.; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Miss Ada Boston, Elizabeth; and one brother, Elsworth Boston, Akron, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie and by two brothers and three sisters.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gail Rubble and the Rev. Amos McVey Jr.   Interment will be in the Sandyville Independence Cemetery.
