Information: STAATS FUNERAL HELD AT FAIRPLAIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Lee Staats, 79, of Fairplain, were held .......church there with Rev. Vairl Winters officiating and the burial with the Parsons funeral directors in charge was in the Casto cemetery.  Mrs. Staats died at her home on Saturday after a brief illness.  She was born Sept. 23, 1884, the daughter of Pleasant S. Fisher and Columbia Casto Fisher.  She married Columbus L. Staats in 1907.  He died in 1949.  Mrs. Staats was a member of the Fairplain Methodist church.  Surviving are a son, Claude Staats of Ripley; three daughters, Mrs. Felice Harpold and Mrs. Columbia Hall, Opa Loca, Fla., and Mrs. Urada Chancey, Ripley; a brother, M. B. Fisher, Glenville; a sister, Mrs. E. B. Kee, Elkview; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
