  <p>Information: William M. ""Bill"" Spradling, 76, Sherman, died Saturday afternoon at Charleston General Hospital after an extended illness.  Spradling was born in Fayetteville.  He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways, was a member of the AFL-CIO, the United Mineworkers, and the Moose Lodge.  Surviving are his wife, Josephine Carson Spradling; a son, Franklin Spradling of Ravenswood; a sister, Mrs. Rena Eggers of Aberdeen, Md.; two brothers, Roy Spradling of Aberdeen, Md. and the Rev. Frank Stephenson of Birdstown, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Franklin, Jr., Gina and Christina Lynn Spradling.  Services were conducted Monday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home in Ravenswood with the Rev. Ken Derrington officiating.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
