Information: Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Andrew's Church in Parkersburg for Mrs. Myrtle Staats Boso, 2204 Latrobe St., widow of Charles W. Boso who died in 1953.  Mrs. Boso died Sunday morning in Camden Clark Hospital following an extended illness.  Born Jan. 8, 1878 at Sherman, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Sarah Francis Staats.  She was the last survivor of her immediate family.  An active member of St. Andrews Methodist Church since 1907, she was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and for 10 years was an officer in the society, for three years being president.  She was a member of the New Era Circle, Kings Daughters, Parkersburg Woman's Club, WCTU, Flower and Garden Club and had been honored with a life membership in the WSCS.  She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club, Older Adult Class, St. Andrews Church.  She is survived by the following nieces and nephews; Mrs. C. F. Snyder, Earl F. Wolfe and Miss Garnet Middaugh of Parkersburg, Mrs. Marie West of Reistertown, Md., Mrs. Maude Bunner of Sherman, Mrs. Inez Reed of Ravenswood and John DeWitt and Mrs. Myrtle Hopp both of Detroit, Mich.  A son died in 1903.  The Rev. Sam A. Harford and Dr. Roy McCuskey officiated at the service and burial was in the IOOF Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers were members of the WSCS and the Women's Bible Class.
