Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Smith, 75 year old widow of the late A. C. Smith, were held from the Goshen church on Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Vairl Winter in charge and burial was in the Garrett cemetery.  The Vail Mortuary had charge of funeral arrangements.  Mrs. Smith died on Friday after a long illness.  Her husband died about two years ago.   Mrs. Virginia Ann Mangus Smith was born 9 Feb 1868, died 1 Jan 1943, aged 74 years, 11 months and 22 days.  She is survived by the following sons and daughters, Alfred and Ambrose, of Charleston and Hoyt of Fletcher, Mrs. W. E. Cobb and Miss Dottie Smith of Charleston, Mrs. Fleet Young of Gay and Miss Ida Smith of Gay.  Eleven grandchildren also survive.  She is survived by the following brothers and sisters:  E. B. and George Mangus of Charleston, Silas and Dennis Mangus of Ohio, Mrs. Joshua Parsons of Ohio, Mrs. W. J. Smith of Clendenin and Mrs. Bilton Covey of Charleston.  She was converted and joined the Advent Christian Church in her early youth.    (Betty Kessel McIntyre)
