Information:                 C. L. “Lou” Boso, died at his home in Sandyville Tuesday morning and funeral arrangements were being completed last night.  Mr. Boso had been a patient in a Charleston hospital for three weeks in March and then returned to his home and was later taken to a Parkersburg hospital where he was a patient for four weeks during which time one leg was amputated.  He was brought home last Friday.  He was born in the Utica community on Cavin Fork in Grant District, a son of Sylvertor Green Boso and Nancy (…….) Boso, and was one of a family of fifteen children, thirteen of whom grew to maturity.  His first wife, Maude Meredith, died in 1917, and on June 8, 1921 he married Grace Gilpin, who with the following children of the former marriage survive:  Rev. A. E. Boso, Miss Cecile Boso, Carroll G. Boso and Mrs. Verna Archer, preceded him in death.  Other survivors include three brothers, George W. of Parkersburg, Samuel G. of Connecticut and Harrison M. of Belleville, and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Nohe and Mrs. Bertha Sollenberger, of  Kent, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Moore of Belleville.   (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
