Information: Mrs. Lora J. Smith, 87, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., formerly Ripley resident, died in Rockledge, Fla., Saturday.  Funeral  services were held at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley at 2 p.m. today, with the Rev. Lawrence Conger, Jr. officiating and burial in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Jackson County.  She was born in Cottageville, April 4, 1886, daughter of the late Abijah and Ellen Hartley Sayre.  She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.  She is survived by one son, Thomas S. Smith of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; one brother, T. E. Sayre of Cottageville, and by one granddaughter, Mrs. Barbara Hash.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Smith, in 1954.
