  <p>Information: Jean Pickens Smith, 81, passed awy on October 23, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Frozen Camp, but moved to Weirton with her loving husband, Edward Lee Smith, originally from Given.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Smith; sisters, Wanda Golden, Louise Smith, Mary Southerland, and an infant sister, Christina; brother, Cleo Pickens; and parents, Earl and Goldie Pickens.  She is survived by her children, Eddie Smith, Joe Smith, Sharry Smith; her loving niece, Cathy Golden Murphy of Fairplain who cared and loved her as a mother after her mother, Wanda, died in 1989.  She had five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by everyone who loved and knew her.  Services were held on Monday, the 24th, in Weirton.  Burial service was held last Tuesday, the 25th, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Roane County.</p>
