Information: Mrs. Irene Kelly Smith, 86, of Parkersburg, died at the St. Marys Hospital in Evansville, Wednesday.  She was born in Ravenswood, a daughter of the late Richard and Minnie Houston Kelly.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served as church secretary several years.  She was a member of the Wood County Democratic Woman's Club.  Survivors include one daughter, Jane Alison Smith, with whom she made her  home; a son, Richard Mackey Smith of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Longmire of Parkersburg and Mrs. P. M. Hill of Oxford, Ind.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Smith, and one grandson.  Funeral services were held Saturday with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The Rev. R. Blaine Detrick officiated.
