  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Genevieve (Connolly) Smith, age 77, of Ripley, WV, died Friday, May 29, 1998, at home of Freda Sataw, caregiver, Washington Bottom, WV. She was born July 22, 1920 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Gulford and Sarah Sears Connolly.  She was a ward clerk at Camden-Clark Hospital and attended Fairplain Union Church.         She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leslie Smith of Ripley; step-son, Herbert L. Smith, Jr. of Mason  WV; stepdaughter, Joann Dalahime of Buckhannon, WV; sisters, Maxine Dooley of Parkersburg and Georgia Jordan of Ripley; 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by daughter, Dorothy Jean Hoover; sister, Mona Lowe and brother, Gale Connolly.         Funeral services were Monday, June 1, 1998 at Fairplain Union Church, Ripley WV with Rev. Carl Chambers.  Burial at Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley, WV.  Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
