  <p>Information: Garland R. Smith, 60, Leroy, died Thursday at his home following a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Martin Van Buren and Estella Ice Smith.  He was a member of the Sandyville Church of Christ and was a Korean War veteran.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Ramsey Smith; six sons, Vandon, Roger, Thomas and Jamie Smith, all of Leroy, Joe of Medina and Matthew of Sandyville; five daughters, Lena Full, Melissa Hill and Ginger Sims, all of Sandyville, Christina Smith of Sissonville and Shannon Zidek of Florida; brother, Delbert Smith of Ripley; sisters, Mary Pursley of Ripley and Roberta Richmond of Akron, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren. Service was Saturday at Sandyville Church of Christ with Evanglist Denver Haught officiating.  Burial was in Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville.  Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
