Information: Clyde B. Smith, 70, of Mount Alto, Jackson County, died Wednesday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, of an apparent heart attack.  Son of the late Isaac J. and Pricy Smith, he was a member of the AF & AM Lodge in Cottageville, No.54, and a retired employee of the Pinkerton Security Service.  Surviving:  wife, Cornelia; daughters, Mrs. Louise Hannum of Cottageville, Mrs. Ardis Shirley of Mount Alto, Mrs. Janice Shirley of Richmond, Ohio, Mrs. Vivian Boston of Letart, Mrs. Doris Strosnider of Winchester, Va.; sons, Clyde B. of Millerstown, Pa., Maurice K. of East View; sisters, Mrs. Inez Oldham of Parkersburg, Mrs. Gladys Brown and Mrs. Olive Stone, both of Belpre, Ohio; brother, Holley of Philadelphia; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Service was Saturday in Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Wilber Baxter officiating.  Burial with Masonic rites was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
